The blues and greens of Mt. Gulugod Baboy

This summer, two of my friends and me willed ourselves to go on our first mountain hiking. It was no laughing matter since we didn’t have any physical preparation prior to the hike (and we don’t really belong to the “fit” ones). Along the way we grumbled and asked ourselves why we agreed to do it. And after hours and hours of trekking under the scorching sun, we finally found the reasons why: the shared experience of hiking with friends and the vibrant beauty of Mt. Gulugod Baboy (literally translated as Pig’s Spine in english) at Batangas, Philippines.

Oh, we were dog tired the following day but the aches and pains were all worth it!
