How have you been doing? You still remember today’s date?
I still see her, you know. But not so much as before. She would permit me a glimpse, a sudden look here and there, a blurry vision. A second and closer look and she’s gone.
Among the three of us, she was the most feisty. Our little daredevil; always doing the crazy stuffs. I bet she’s still wreaking havoc wherever she is today.
Do you still remember our camping trips? Rooftop camping, that is. She would often argue that we can better see the sky without the trees obscuring our view. We would often just tease her it’s because she’s afraid of the sounds one hears in the wilderness. She never got tired of looking at the stars. You and I, we were always the ones who easily fell asleep.
By the way, I’m in the rooftop tonight. There’s a new moon in my part of the world and the sky is extra clear and beautiful.
I wonder if she has stars in her place now. Then again, she’s maybe twinkling at us now.
